Certified Scrum Master
with Joe Justice
April. 26-27, 2017
Our Certified Scrum Master class is suited for all levels of Scrum experience, from the novice to the professional, and prepares you for success with Scrum in your organization. Our course curriculum sets the standard for Scrum know-how, drawing on our experience of implementing Scrum across industries including energy, finance, defense and technology.
You will learn by doing. At the start of class, you will become part of a self-organized Scrum Team and through games and exercises, you will execute the Scrum roles, create and prioritize backlogs, and manage burndown charts. Our case studies and interactive exercises teach the patterns proven to accelerate your Scrum.
This participatory, interactive two-day course will teach you both the practice and the theory behind Scrum. By the conclusion of the course you will know:
- How to be an effective Scrum Master
- How to improve teamwork and productivity
- How to launch new products faster than you think you possibly can
- How to demand, and receive, technical excellence to not only deliver products faster, but with higher quality.
As a Certified Scrum Master you will:
- Be prepared to pass the Certified Scrum Master test and become a Scrum practitioner
- Be qualified to lead teams in any environment or industry as a Scrum Master
- Have the opportunity to network with industry leaders and Agile professionals
- Engage with instructors and classmates on challenges specific to your organization
This course will focus on the Scrum Master, the Product Owner, and the Team in a software development organization. However, the course is useful to everyone in a company that uses Scrum. Joe coaches Scrum teams in sales, marketing, finance, client services, senior management teams, investment groups, and non-profit organizations as well as software development teams. You will often find a CEO, CFO, or CIO in these classes, as well as others interested in expanding Scrum throughout their companies.
