Advanced Agile CSM
with Alistair Cockburn
Jun. 08-09, 2017
LEARNING OUTCOMES FOR THIS COURSE
Modern "expert" agile practitioners know the practices, but not why they work, how to adjust them, how to approach new and surprising situations. This advanced course from industry guru Dr. Alistair Cockburn teaches you that.
In this special edition of the Masterclass, you can also back-fill your Certified ScrumMaster Certificate. Not a beginner CSM course, we will examine the current version of Scrum through the lens of advanced agile, to understand why it is written the way it is, what is obligatory, what not, and how to discuss with your fresh CSM colleagues. At the end of the course, you will be able to take the ScrumAlliance CSM exam to receive your CSM status and you will receive two years of registration with the ScrumAlliance. If you already have your CSM, don't worry, you will learn plenty that you didn't already know from our discussion.
In this 2-day, activity- and discovery-filled course, come away with
how to apply agile techniques to non-software projects,
how to get early results with Test-Driven Carpaccio,
how to reduce risk and maximize effectiveness,
- why the ScrumGuide is written as it is, plus your CSM exam entry
To get the most from the course, it is a good idea to prepare yourself by reading from Agile Software Development: The Cooperative Game and "The Seven Properties of Highly Successful Projects" from Crystal Clear: A Human-Powered Methodology for Small Teams.
